I suppose its worth mentioning a few more things -
1. The masks have a leakage rate of (according to Respro) about 20% so the effect is not blocking out of all gasoline fume smells. You will feel the effect in your lungs and throat, not necessarily your nose, for which 20% and 100% smells about the same. Bear in mind also that it does not block out fumes under a certain size so (e.g.) cigarette smoke is _not_ blocked out at all.
2. Be extra careful not to perfume your face in any way shortly before wearing the mask. That includes shaving since the normal shaving cream has perfume in it and of course, after shave, cologne or anything else. If you do, not only will you breath in all the perfume since the mask will not let it evaporate out and that is worse then any gasoline fumes, you will also ruin the filter and chances are you will have to wash the mask if you want to wear it. The reason I got the second mask was because I wore the first after using after shave and it made it useless.
3. For Israeli weather, the SportsTA is far superior to the City. It is much better ventilated so your face does not heat up as much and and the better filter makes it _much_ easier to breath. I would even recommend not to bother with the City at all but to go directly to the SportsTA, since in the summer, the City is very difficult, if not impossible to use.
